Outlook on Windows does not support email aliases for your FourteenRockets mailbox. If you want to send email from an alias, we advise you to use our webmail, where every alias on your mailbox is available as a sender without any setup.
An email alias is an additional email address that forwards to your existing mailbox. For example, hello@yourdomain.com could be an alias of info@yourdomain.com. Receiving emails sent to an alias address works straight away and requires no setup; they will simply appear in your inbox.
Neither classic Outlook nor new Outlook has a setting in which an alias can be added to a mailbox. There are workarounds, such as adding your mailbox to Outlook a second time, but they make Outlook harder to use and we do not recommend this.
Some of our customers who send from several aliases every day only use webmail and have not set up Outlook at all. Webmail works in any browser, on a computer, phone or tablet, so there is nothing to install or configure. It just works.
If your mailbox has no aliases, or you never need to send from one, Outlook works well. Follow our Microsoft Outlook setup guide to add your mailbox to Outlook.
