What is included in the FourteenRockets WordPress Basic subscription?

The cost of the subscription includes hosting and server space. The FourteenRockets Basic WordPress subscription includes the following:

• 15 minutes of editor support per month
  Help with questions and help with adding and editing content.
• Minor layout and formatting changes
  For example, changing a text colour and minor adjustments to the layout.
• Resolution of any technical issues with your WordPress website
  No unexpected costs.
• Unlimited updates to new versions of WordPress and all plugins
  Every time a new version of WordPress is released. Updates are performed on average once a month. No unexpected costs.

Detailed overview of the FourteenRockets Basic subscription

The FourteenRockets Basic WordPress Subscription includes the following features, services and modules described below.

Hosting

The subscription includes hosting of your WordPress website on our fast and secure dedicated web server.

Your subscription includes 50 000 (fifty thousand) page views per month, which comfortably covers normal website usage, including periodic traffic spikes. If your site exceeds this allowance, additional page views are charged at € 0,50 per 1 000 (thousand) page views. Page views are measured and determined by WPMU DEV Analytics, the analytics module included with every FourteenRockets subscription. These measurements are authoritative for all fair use calculations.

The Basic WordPress subscription includes up to 10 Gb of server space.

The subscription does not include the annual costs for domains and mailboxes.

WordPress content management system

Our content management system is the professional open source WordPress CMS, renowned for its ease of use. Anyone can quickly learn how to use WordPress to add text and images to your website.

WordPress updates and maintenance

WordPress releases security updates and new versions on average once a month. We perform all WordPress updates without you having to do anything. This means that your website is always running the latest version of WordPress and is always secure. Plugin updates are also done at no extra cost to you.

Installing and configuring of simple plugins

There are many plugins available for WordPress. I am happy to help and advise you in choosing plugins that may be useful for your website. Installing simple plugins once or twice per year is free of charge. The only requirement is that the plugin is secure and can be installed without modification.

Installing complex plugins and modules with many configuration options, such as an additional language, a web shop or a reservation system, is not included in the subscription. There may be an annual licence fee for some complex premium plugins.

Please contact us if you are interested in add-on modules such as webshop, online reservation system, newsletter and extensive forms.

15 minutes of editor support per month

Editorial support means we help you with text and photos, for example if you are too busy to do it yourself. Or if you have forgotten how to do something. Editorial support means we help you manage the content of your website.

Please note that unused editorial support time does not carry over to the next month – if you don’t use your editorial support time within the calendar month, it will expire.

Costs outside the subscription

While the FourteenRockets Basic subscription covers a wide range of services, there may be cases where additional costs are incurred. Major changes to the WordPress installation, customising themes or adding complex modules and plugins fall outside the regular subscription. For such work, FourteenRockets subscribers are charged at a rate of € 20,00 per 15 minutes for work that can be completed within a few hours. This ensures that you only pay for the extra services you need, while still benefiting from the comprehensive coverage of your subscription.
